Rental System Terms of Use
Items required when renting
- You will need to present a form of identification, such as a driver's license or health insurance card.
- Please fill out the designated form with your contact information (address, name, phone number, etc.).
Rental Rates and Duration
- The rental period shall be from the date the item is delivered to the date it is returned.
(Even if there are days when the item is not used due to unforeseen circumstances, we will charge for the entire rental period until it is returned.) - Please pay the rental fee and any other charges in cash when you pick up the item (prepayment required).
Please note that we do not issue refunds even if you return the item before the due date. - Rental rates vary depending on the item and rental period, so please refer to the table above.
(For rentals exceeding 3 days, an extension fee will be charged for each additional day.) - If you wish to rent for three days or more, please be sure to specify the return date.
- Please contact us by the day before the scheduled return date if you wish to extend the rental period. The extension fee is due at the time of return.
Pickup and Return of Rental Items
- As a general rule, rental items will be picked up and returned at the Tool & DIY Counter.
- We cannot accept product pickups or returns on our store’s closed days or outside of business hours.
Important Notes During the Rental Period
- Please be sure to read the instruction manual for rental tools and use them for their intended purpose and in the correct manner.
- The customer is obligated to use and store the product with due care and may not lend it to others.
- If a rented tool is damaged or malfunctions, please contact us immediately.
- Please note that if a rented tool is damaged, stolen, or lost due to negligence or an accident, you will be charged the actual cost of repairs. Please also note that we cannot be held liable for any injuries or other incidents that occur during use.
- We assume no liability for any losses incurred by customers due to malfunctions or other issues with rented tools.
About Rental Items
- Rental rates, models, and specifications are subject to change without notice.
- Consumables such as drill bits and circular saw blades are not included. Please purchase these separately.
- Please note that the tools you wish to rent may already be checked out.
